Hardmetal Technology holds comprehensive stocks of both sintered and finish ground carbide rod.

Our services include finish grinding the rod in-house, producing special diameters or tolerances to suit your specific requirements.

Blanks can be produced ready for fluting - from a simple drill blank with a back taper to a multi diameter drill reamer with coolant holes EDM drilled from the outside diameter to a central coolant hole. Particular attention is paid to straightness, roundness and concentricity on these types of products.

The Company deals with leading European and US carbide manufactures so can supply most sizes and grades - including rods with single straight coolant holes, two straight coolant holes, two or three coolant holes with 30 degree or 40 degree leads.
